The Department of Education at Majlis Arts and Science College (Autonomous) was established in 2025, following the National Council for Teacher Education’s (NCTE) invitation to launch Integrated Teacher Education Programmes (ITEP) in multidisciplinary institutions, as notified in 2024. In response, the college submitted its application and proposal to NCTE.

The programmes are recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), New Delhi, and affiliated to the University of Calicut. The Integrated Teacher Education Programmes (ITEP) commenced from the 2025–2026 Academic Year.

As per the approved sanction, the college offers one unit (50 seats) each for the ITEP in Science, Arts, and Commerce disciplines.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

Admission to ITEP Programmes are through National Common Entrance Test (NCET) Conducted by National testing Agency (NTA). All students seeking admission to ITEP programmes must have attended NCET examination scheduled to be conducted in April, 2026.

When to Apply at Majlis College for Admission?
Majlis Arts and Science College invites applications for ITEP Admission in the month of May, commencing from the very next day after the declaration of the NCET (National Common Entrance Test) results.

Eligible candidates must submit their application through the official college website: www.masc.edu.in, along with the NCET score card, within the stipulated time period.
