Majlis Arts and Science College (Autonomous) is the first college in Kerala to receive NCTE recognition for offering the Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP), in alignment with the NEP 2020. The programme integrates strong subject knowledge with pedagogy, research orientation, and practical exposure. With excellent learning facilities, digital classrooms, and a learner-centred academic environment, Majlis ensures the holistic development of future teachers. Equal importance is given to skill development, leadership, experiential learning, and co-curricular engagement to prepare professionally competent and socially responsible educators.
It is a historic honour for me to join Majlis Arts and Science College (Autonomous) as the Head of ITEP. As the first institution in Kerala to receive NCTE recognition for ITEP, Majlis has established a strong foundation in teacher education aligned with NEP 2020. With qualified faculty, excellent infrastructure, and a multidisciplinary approach, the college offers a learner-centred academic environment. Emphasis on skill development, experiential learning, research orientation, and student initiative helps shape competent and responsible future educators.
