The Department of Education, Majlis Arts and Science College, actively participated in the Mini-DISHA 2K25 Higher Education Expo organised by the Department of Higher Secondary Education, Government of Kerala at DHO HSS, Pookarathara on 30-31 October 2025. The event aimed to create awareness among higher secondary students about various higher education opportunities available at Institutions of Excellence across the state.
A dedicated team from the Department of Education represented the college in the expo. The team consisted of Dr. Naseerali M.K., Head of the Department, Rafa Aboobacker, Assistant Professor, non-teaching staff members Rizwan and Ashraf, and students Aditya Ganesh, Telna Rose, and Ameesha V Manoj. Under the leadership of the HoD, the team successfully set up an attractive and informative Majlis College stall, offering students a clear understanding of the academic programmes and opportunities available.
During the exhibition, the team provided detailed explanations on the Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP), including its features, admission procedures, curriculum structure, and career prospects. Information regarding other programmes offered by Majlis College was also shared with participants. The stall received remarkable attention for its clarity, presentation, and student-friendly interactions.
The participation in Mini-DISHA 2K25 proved highly productive, helping the department extend its outreach and guide aspiring students towards informed educational choices.
