The Department of Education, Majlis Arts and Science College (Autonomous), organized an invited lecture on the topic “Research-Oriented Teacher” on 25 March 2026 at 2:00 PM in the AV Hall of the college.
The programme commenced with an introductory address by Dr. Naseerali M.K., Head of the Department of Education. In his remarks, he emphasized the significance of developing a research mindset among teachers and highlighted the role of research in enhancing teaching-learning processes.
The resource person for the session, Mr. Rasheed C.P., Assistant Professor at ISS College of Teacher Education, Perinthalmanna, delivered an insightful lecture. He elaborated on the concept of a research-oriented teacher, stressing the importance of reflective practice, action research, and continuous professional development. The session was highly engaging and enriched the participants with practical perspectives on integrating research into classroom practices.
At the end of the session, Dr. Naseerali M.K. honored the resource person by presenting a memento and a certificate as a token of appreciation.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Shafrin, Coordinator of D.El.Ed., who expressed gratitude to the resource person, faculty members, and students for their active participation and support in making the programme a success.
