As part of the Deeksharambh – Student Induction Programme 2026 for the newly admitted ITEP batch, the Department of Education, Majlis Arts and Science College organized an inspiring session titled “Be Inspired from the Wonderful Teacher” on 23 June 2026.
The session featured veteran teacher PAM Abdul Kadir, who interacted with the prospective teachers and shared his rich experiences from the teaching profession. Drawing from decades of service, he emphasized the values of dedication, compassion, integrity, and lifelong learning that define an exemplary teacher. His inspiring words encouraged the fresh entrants to embrace teaching not merely as a profession but as a noble mission of shaping future generations.
The programme commenced with a warm welcome address by Mrs. Soumya AK. Dr. Naseerali MK, Head of the Department of Education (ITEP), delivered the introductory remarks, highlighting the significance of learning from experienced educators during the formative stage of teacher education.
The interactive session concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Fathima Samrin, a student of the newly admitted ITEP batch, who expressed gratitude to the resource person and all those who contributed to the successful conduct of the programme. The session left a lasting impression on the aspiring teachers, inspiring them to pursue excellence and uphold the highest ideals of the teaching profession.
