Overview
The Department of Education successfully hosted the 32nd Edition of the “Between the Lines” programme on August 5, 2026, at 8:00 PM via Google Meet. The virtual gathering brought together faculty members and students for an engaging literary discussion centered around a classic work of Malayalam literature.
Proceedings of the Event
- Welcome Address: The session commenced with a warm welcome note delivered by Safa N, greeting the faculty and student participants to the literary forum.
- Featured Presentation: Ms. Niha Shamz (BSc B.Ed. Mathematics, 2026–2030 Batch) led the main session with an in-depth presentation on Janmadhinam, a celebrated collection of short stories by the legendary Malayalam author Vaikom Muhammed Basheer. She meticulously detailed each short story featured in the book, complemented by her own thoughtful personal narratives and critical interpretations.
- Felicitation and Discussions: Following the comprehensive presentation, an interactive discussion session was opened. Valuable insights, reflections, and critical perspectives on Basheer’s literary style and themes were shared by:
