As part of the Teachers’ Day Celebrations 2026, the Department of Education, Majlis Arts and Science College (Autonomous), organised a series of programmes involving the students and faculty of the Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP).

On 3 September 2026, a team of ITEP students and staff greeted the Principal, Heads of various Departments, Controller of Examinations, IQAC Coordinator, and teachers with specially handcrafted greeting cards. The gesture reflected the students’ love, gratitude, and respect towards their teachers.

On 7 September 2026 at 11:00 AM, a grand Teachers’ Day celebration was organised at the ITEP Hall. The programme began with a welcome address by Adithya Ganesh, Head Girl of ITEP Batch 1. Dr. Naseerali M.K., Head, ITEP, inaugurated the celebration. Dr. V.T. Jayaram, HoD, PG Department of English, and Dr. B. Lambodharanpillai, HoD, Department of Languages, felicitated the gathering.

As a special gesture of appreciation, the Head of the Department presented a “Gift of the Day” to all teachers. Gifts prepared by the students were also presented to the teachers by representatives from ITEP Batch 1 and Batch 2.

The celebration continued with an energetic student dance performance, followed by a series of fun-filled games and interactive activities for the teachers and students. The event created a joyful atmosphere and strengthened the bond between the teachers and prospective teachers.
