REPORT ON WORLD TEACHERS’ DAY CELEBRATIONPrabhat Vedhi
– World Teachers’ Day The Education Department of Majlis Arts and Science College (Autonomous) under Majlis ITEP, organised a special assembly in connection with World Teachers’ Day on 5 October at the ITEP Hall. The programme began at 9:10 AM and was conducted by the students of B.A.B.Ed Arabic and B.Sc.B.Ed Physics.The programme commenced with a prayer, followed by the welcome and anchoring by Rifna. The pledge was also led by Rifna. Lina presented the Thought of the Day, inspiring everyone to reflect on the importance of teachers and education.The programme continued with the News presented by Hashil and the Word of the Day by Naveen. Asna presented the Specialty of the Day, highlighting the significance of World Teachers’ Day and the valuable role teachers play in shaping students and society. An engaging activity was conducted by Athulya, adding enthusiasm and participation to the assembly.The celebration focused on the importance of teachers in nurturing knowledge, confidence, curiosity and good values among students. The message of the programme was beautifully reflected in the theme: “A good teacher can ignite the spark of curiosity, build the confidence and shape a brighter tomorrow.”The World Teachers’ Day celebration was an informative and meaningful programme that helped the students understand and appreciate the dedication and contribution of teachers. It also served as a reminder that education has the power to transform individuals and create a better future.
