The 100th Prabhat Vedhi was conducted by the Zoology Department on the theme “The Centenarians of Nature.” The programme was anchored by Hansha and began with a prayer, followed by the pledge by Ansiya. The Thought of the Day to enhance our daily thought by Sana Shabnam, Speciality of the Day wonderfully explained by Fathima Nasreen, Word of the Day to update our vocabulary by Hanna, and News Report to know what’s happening around the world by Anjima were all presented respectively.
As part of the theme, Niveditha Raveendran conducted an interactive activity based on the lesson “Longevity.” Cropped pictures of organisms that have lived for more than 100 years were shown, and the audience was invited to identify them. Interesting and informative facts about each organism and its lifespan were shared after every identification.
The active participation of the audience made the activity engaging and informative. The programme concluded successfully, marking the 100th Prabhat Vedhi as a memorable learning experience.
